Patio Black Spot Remover is currently the only product developed specifically to remove those hideous ‘Black Spots’ and restore the natural colour your garden stonework. Patio Black Spot Remover for Natural Stone will remove ‘Black Spots’ from Indian Sandstone, York Stone, Limestone (including Bath and Portland Stone), Purbeck stone and other Natural Stones. Patio Black Spot Remover will restore the colour back into your stonework that you thought you had lost forever.
To maintain your garden stonework and stop the ‘return of the Black Spots’, buy and apply our Patio Black Spot Preventer annually. This will kill any ‘Black Spot’ spores before they have the chance to germinate and turn into spots and will also remove green algae without the need to power wash!
Prior to use, pre wash the affected area to remove any loose debris ensuring the Patio Black Spot Remover can come into direct contact with the Black Spots and stone’s surface. Apply on a cool day, if it dries too quickly the performance will be reduced, on a hot day apply in the evening and allow to dwell overnight. Only apply when the surface is dry, do not apply when threat of rain is imminent.
1/ Use neat – DO NOT DILUTE – Pour our solution into a pneumatic garden sprayer. Pressurize the sprayer.
2/ Using a fine mist spray apply a flood coat, working in sweeping strokes across the stonework. Immediately after apply a second continuous pass at right angles to the first to ensure complete coverage.
3/ DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED COVERAGE OF 5 SQUARE METRES PER LITRE. Exceeding the recommended coverage rate will reduce the performance of this product. Coverage will vary depending on surface porosity and profile, e.g when treating sloping areas or riven surface, beware of surface run off and retreat as necessary to ensure correct coverage.
4/ Allow to cure for a minimum period of 2 hours. In cases of severe infestation or when treating very porous stone allow the product to dwell overnight.
5/ Remove using a pressure washer ideally with a minimum flow of 7 litres per minute. Use the fan jet attachment approximately 50mm from the surface. Adjust this distance to suit your application.
6/ Retreat if necessary to remove any remaining Black Spots or ‘Ghosting’. You must allow the surface to dry before retreating.
The Patio Black Spot Remover is quickly and readily biodegradable. The effluent if washed into soil, flower beds or lawn will breakdown rapidly. This product will not affect surrounding lawns or foliage in diluted state. Keep animals and unprotected persons off the treated area until dry.
Ensure this product does not come into contact with fabrics or furnishings.

Not quite sure where to post the feedback on your website, but thought
this may be where to do it.
I would like to say what a fantastic product
the black spot remover is. I have about 70 sq metres of indian sandstone
paths and a patio in my back garden which is now completely free of those
horrible black spots. I have now purchased the preventer so that I can
treat all areas next spring so they do not reappear.

Desperate for something to be done to remove the black spots from our Indian Sandstone patio, we searched the internet in vain until we came across your website. Everything was clearly explained in advance of your visit and on your arrival any last minute questions and concerns were fully answered. Although our patio has been down about 10 years, it now looks like new again. The ' black spots ' have gone ! We can believe in miracles !! Many thanks.
After much research I found this product online, although expensive I was so desperate to improve the look of the patio I would have tried anything. After jet washing the Indian sandstone the black spots looked worse than before I cleaned them so I was willing to give this product a go. I swept the paths and patio then self applied using a garden sprayer, it was incredibly easy and then left it to work. After an hour, the results were amazing, the spots were just disappearing, after another they were gone and I simply washed away the residue with the jet wash. The stonework now genuinely does look like new.
Simon, I just thought I would let you know how delighted I was with the Patio Black Spot Remover! It did exactly as you said it would! regards, Monique
I've been involved exclusively with the hard landscaping sector since 1986. This is the very first time since starting our company that we've seen a product that isn't a halfway approach to cleaning; the results are almost magical. We were recently involved with cleaning a terrace that was so blighted by black spot it was hard to tell what stone had been laid. We were convinced the patio would have to be lifted and re-laid with new stone as from past experience even industrial pressure-washers tend to struggle with this type of fungal growth. After application even we were shocked by the transformation as the spots had simply disappeared - there wasn't a trace left. Whatever this chemical is - it works. Yes, the chemical seems pricey but what would the cost be to lift and re-lay with new stone? Enough said. Jonathan Seddon (Director at Whyteleafe Paving Company Ltd www.wpaving.co.uk)
