Patio Black Spot Remover for Natural Stone will remove ‘Black Spots’ from Indian Sandstone, York Stone, Limestone (including Bath and Portland Stone), Purbeck stone and other Natural Stones. To maintain your garden stonework and stop the ‘return of the Black Spots’, buy and apply our Patio Black Spot Preventer annually. This will kill any ‘Black Spot’ spores before they have the chance to germinate and turn into spots and will also remove green algae without the need to power wash!

Directions:
Prior to use, pre wash the affected area to remove any loose debris ensuring the Patio Black Spot Remover can come into direct contact with the Black Spots and stone’s surface.  Apply on a cool day, if it dries too quickly the performance will be reduced, on a hot day apply in the evening and allow to dwell overnight. Only apply when the surface is dry, do not apply when threat of rain is imminent.

1/  Use neat – DO NOT DILUTE – Pour our solution into a pneumatic garden sprayer. Pressurize the sprayer.
2/ Using a fine mist spray apply a flood coat, working in sweeping strokes across the stonework. Immediately after apply a second continuous pass at right angles to the first to ensure complete coverage.
3/ DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED COVERAGE OF 5 SQUARE METRES PER LITRE. Exceeding the recommended coverage rate will reduce the performance of this product. Coverage will vary depending on surface porosity and profile, e.g when treating sloping areas or riven surface, beware of surface run off and retreat as necessary to ensure correct coverage.
4/ Allow to cure for a minimum period of 2 hours. In cases of severe infestation or when treating very porous stone allow the product to dwell overnight.
5/ Remove using a pressure washer ideally with a minimum flow of 7 litres per minute. Use the fan jet attachment approximately 50mm from the surface. Adjust this distance to suit your application.
6/ Retreat if necessary to remove any remaining Black Spots or ‘Ghosting’. You must allow the surface to dry before retreating.

The Patio Black Spot Remover is quickly and readily biodegradable. The effluent if washed into soil, flower beds or lawn will breakdown rapidly. This product will not affect surrounding lawns or foliage in diluted state. Keep animals and unprotected persons off the treated area until dry.
Ensure this product does not come into contact with fabrics or furnishings.

This is an amazing product that has saved me a fortune on replacement paving. This was a key consideration given the price of the product when I first tried it out. I was not disappointed at all and now have pristine patio and block paving all around the house. The impact is immediate and the result lasts. In summary well worth the money and actually delivers a fantastic result.

Absolutely Amazing! Black spots disappeared while we watched! Having been told about four years ago that there was nothing on the market that would work, we were a bit sceptical. Quite expensive, but worth it and would thoroughly recommend it. Easy to use with a sprayer and wash off with a hose. Will now invest in some preventative which should go a lot further. Thank You!

Yes, this stuff really works. Our patio is 8-9 years old mainly limestone slabs with an inset circle of sandstone slabs. Even regular washing with a big Karcher pressure washer didn't stop the steady growth of the dreaded black spots, especially on the sandstone. Treating with this stuff has made a huge difference. We will be buying again.

Well worth the cost. The colour of my Indian Sandstone had just about disappeared and after 7 years it was covered in Lichen which nothing would remove. After spraying Black Spot Removal I could tell almost immediately how well it was working. Very helpful on the telephone and prompt delivery. I will make sure I put down the Preventer next year to keep my patio looking good.

A year on and the results are still stunning. We are ordering more for our neighbours and maintenance product for ourselves. I have tried loads of different products and this is the only one that actually does what it says on the website and plastic containers. Amazing

Brilliant product, would recommend to anyone. Brought my 8year old natural stone patio back to life. Could hardly believe my eyes. Very impressed with the result and so glad that I decided to give it a go. Thank-you BSRC

Amazing!! I was sceptical after spending quite a large amount of money on this product for my patio! My Indian sand stone has come back to a colourful life again! Love it. I will be ordering the protector next summer.

An amazing product. I wish we had found it sooner. It does exactly what it says it will. We sprayed our patio one afternoon and pressure washed it the following day. As we sprayed we could literally see it working. It has transformed our Indian sandstone patio - I had been so full of regrets about having it laid as it has looked so bad for so long and not responded to pressure washing - now with the Black Spot Remover it looks brand new again.

After googling the symptoms of our patio and coming up with black spot, I purchased 8 litres of the black spot remover for natural stone. I knew it wouldn't be enough, but as I thought it was quite expensive I wanted to make sure that it worked first. We sent our dog on a sleep over for the night and applied the black spot remover. I couldn't believe the results! In less than one hour all the black spots had been removed. I left it on for as long as the instructions said and then rinsed. The colour of the stone was back to it's original beauty. I was still slightly dubious though that it was in fact just bleach, so before purchasing any more I decided, the next day, to put neat bleach on a couple of the remaining stones just to see if I could treat the rest with that instead. The bleach did nothing, the black spots remained. I have now purchased another 2 bottles to complete the patio. The back spot remover is in fact in my opinion worth every penny - the results were excellent - so much better than I expected by a long way.

This solution works wonders. I was a little sceptical before I used it for the first time but after 2 hours I was amazed by the end result the patio looks as good as new now !
